Floor & Upholstery Cleaner

for cleaning hard floors
○ the upholstered furniture attach-
ment with hose (26) for cleaning
upholstered furniture, tiles or other
surfaces
4. Unwind the connecting cable (see the
"Winding Up the Cable" chapter) and
connect it to the plug socket.
Cleaning Carpets and Hard Floors
Please Note!
■
Do not wet carpets excessively.
■
To use the device on laminate floor-
ing, the following must be ensured:
○ The laminate must be properly laid
and have no gaps or cracks into
which moisture could penetrate.
○ Test the device first on an incon-
spicuous spot. Then check it for any
waves or ingress of moisture. If the
test spot is unblemished, the device
can be used to clean the entire
laminate floor.

If the device is parked after use,
a wet spot may form beneath the
cleaning foot. You should therefore
lay a cloth under the cleaning foot
when the device is parked.
1. The floor should be cleaned in strips.
Decide where you should start to
clean and where you will stop without
treading on the areas that have just
been cleaned. We recommend that
right-handed people should start at
the right-hand side, and left-handed
people should start at the left-hand
side.
2. Release the parking position (see the
"Parking Position" chapter) and push
the device to the starting point.
3. Flip the I / 0 switch for warm air (4) to
the I position. It starts to light up.
4. Press the On / Off switch (17) to
switch on the rotating brushes and

release of warm air. (To switch it off,
press the On / Off switch again.)
5. Push the device forwards in a strip
and press the trigger (2) on the
handle (1) so that water or cleaning
solution is released from the cleaning
foot (8) and instantly brushed in.
Walk to the side of the device as you
do this. Do not tread on the wet floor!
6. Once you get to the end of the strip,
let go of the trigger and pull the de-
vice backwards along the same strip.
Warm air then starts to dry the floor.
The attachment (16) also sucks up the
dirty water and conveys it into the
dirty water tank.
7. Start the next strip slightly overlap-
ping. Work up to the end of the area
which is to be cleaned with even
movements forwards and backwards.
If you find more stubborn patches of
dirt, go over a strip several times if
necessary.

Note the MAX marking of the
dirty water tank (10) and empty it
as soon as it is reached.
8. If the dirty water tank is going to be
emptied, the fresh water tank topped
up or the cleaning ended, switch off
the device in the manner described in
the "After Use" section and discon-
nect it from the mains power.
Cleaning Upholstered Furniture and
Other Surfaces
Please Note!
■
When the upholstered furniture at-
tachment is used, the rotating brushes
in the cleaning foot also rotate. Place
the device on a protective mat on
delicate floors.
1. Release the parking position, push the
device near to the area which is to be
cleaned and set it down in the parking
