Old appliance

Before disposing of your old appliance,
please make sure that it is unusable by
removing the connecting cable and gas
tube.
To ensure the environment-conscious
disposal of your old appliance, you may
be able to return it to your dealer or a ma-
terials processing centre. The address of
your nearest materials processing centre
can be obtained from your local authority.

Packaging

Dispose of packaging materials in an envi-
ronmentally compatible manner.
Our products require effective protective
packaging when they are being trans-
ported. We keep packaging to the
necessary minimum, however. All pack*
aging materials used are environmentally
compatible and recyclable. The wooden
parts have not been treated with chemi-
cals. The cardboard boxes are made up
of 80 to 100 % of recycled paper. The
packaging films are made out of polyethy
lene (PE),the banding out of polypropy
lene (PP) and the packing cushions out of
CFC-free polystyrene foam (PS). The ma-
terials comprise pure hydrocarbon
pounds and are recyclable.

at your local authority about all possible
means of environmental protection.

Please observe the following information
before using your new appliance:
The appliance is preset to 230 V. If your
mains connection provides anything
else, e.g. 110 V, please contact our
after-sales service.
u The connecting cable of the appliance
must not come into contact
hotplates or the rear Side of the ap-
pliance.
a The appliance must only be connected
to the power supply via a properly in-
staled e.l.c.b.-protected
In the event that you do not have
a properly installed e.l.c.b.-protected
socket-outlet, please contact our after-
sales service.
a The gas tube of the appliance must not
come into contact with any hot parts of
the appliance. If necessary,
arrange the gas connector to the left or
right of the appliance, depending on
the conditions provided by the installa-
tion site. If you have changed the posi-
tion of the gas connector, you must
then use soapy water to check the
tightness of the connection.
u Having connected the gas tube to the
gas connector, you must then attach
the clamp. Please check the connec-
tion for tightness (for this purpose, the
top hotplates must be closed).
