Source selection
Press this button to switch the T 1210 R on from the
STANDBY state. If the tuner was previously switched off
using the
button on the remote control unit, then
it can be switched on again by pressing the
button.
If the tuner's display is darkened or switched off (see
button) then pressing the
select it causes the current tuner setting to appear at
normal brightness on the screen for about 4 seconds.
The screen then switches back to dark or off, as
previously set.
Preset-/Frequence selection
Select a preset.
Tap a button briefly to tune in a station manually.
Hold the button pressed in for about a second to start a
station search.
Numeric buttons

Numeric buttons, allowing you to select a preset directly.
When you press a numeric button a '
appears in the display, followed by the number just
pressed. If you press a second numeric button within the
next 2 seconds, then this is assumed to be the second
digit of the preset number. If you do not press a second
button to
button, then the preset is assumed to be a single-digit
number.
The preset is activated once you enter the second digit,
or when the two-second period has elapsed.
If you call up a preset number which is not in use (xx),
the integral tuner's screen shows '
T 1210 R returns to the normal display.
If you call up an invalid preset number (xx = number less
than 01 or larger than 60) then the integral tuner's screen
shows '
then switches back to the normal display.
An attempt to store or erase an invalid preset number
(xx) is met with the message '
screen; the unit then abandons the storing or erasing
process.
