Start-up
Electrical connections
• Please check whether the device's supply
voltage is compatible with the supply volt-
age used in your house (please see the
type plate).
• Please ensure you only connect the de-
vice to a professionally installed protective
contact socket with sufficient fuse pro-
tection (see „Technical specifications" on
page EN-28).
• The plug socket must be located away
from the reverse side of the microwave,
otherwise the plug will be in contact with
the back plate.
• Do not use any multiplugs, extension
cables, timer switches or remote control
systems.
Initially heating up the
appliance
A slight odour may be produced during first
use. This is not harmful and will disappear
after a short time.
• Allow the appliance to run for 10 minutes
in grill mode(see „Grill/Combi mode" on
page EN-19).
Cooking chamber and lighting
If the door is opened while the device is in op-
eration, the cooking process will be stopped.
The cooking process resumes once the door
is closed again.
The cooking chamber light switches on auto-
matically when the door is open or the appli-
ance is in operation.
Ventilator lag
After the cooking time has finished, the fan
will continue to run for a few minutes to cool
the device down. The duration depends on
how hot it is in the device.
