• Only use a certified USB cable (< 3 m) listed at
www.usb.org.
• Electrostatic discharges (ESD) can impair the performance
of the appliance.
• A cable with a sufficient conductor cross-section must be
selected for the power supply.
• The low-voltage cable between the power supply and the
device must not be longer than 3 m.
• Use a shielded cable for the RS-485 interface.
• Ground the shield of the RS-485 cable at one end of the ca-
ble.
• Do not connect a power supply to the terminals of the RS-
485 interface!
• The cable length of the RS-485 interface must not exceed
30 m.
