Cleaning mineral deposits
1.
Fill up the water tank with water and a descaler following the proportions indicated by
the descaler manufacturer.
2.
Insert the portafilter.
3.
Press the power button and wait until the red and green indicators light up.
4.
Press the coffee button for the machine to dispense 2 cups of water. Then, press the
coffee button again to close the pump and wait for 5 seconds.
5.
Place the jug under the steamer and turn the steam knob completely counterclockwise
(at least 135º).
6.
Press the coffee button for the machine to dispense 2 cups of water. Then, press the
coffee button again to close the pump and wait for 5 seconds.
7.
Restart the coffee machine and repeat these steps until there is no more water left in the
tank (at least 3 times).
8.
Brew a coffee with tap water up to the MAX mark, without coffee powder, and repeat the
before steps until there is no more water in the tank (at least 3 times).
5. TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Coffee does not
come out
Too little coffee or
too little pressure
No water/steam
Possible cause
No water in tank.
Coffee grind is too fine.
There is too much coffee in
the filter.
The coffee machine is not
switched on or connected.
Coffee has been tamped/
compressed too much.
Mineral deposits in the coffee
machine.
There is no water in the water
tank, or it is not installed
properly.
The machine is not preheated.
Possible solution
Add water.
Grind medium-ground coffee.
Fill filter with less coffee.
Connect the unit to a power supply
and turn it on.
Refill the filter basket with coffee,
do not tamp too much.
Perform a complete descaling.
Fill the water tank and switch on the
machine.
The machine needs to be preheated
before coffee can be brewed. Once
the machine is preheated, the
indicator light will turn on.
