Every time the wire spool is changed, make sure that the wire runs into the wire inlet
nozzle smoothly. If the inlet nozzle is worn out, replace it with a new one and readjust
the wire infeed.
Unscrew the contact tube and blow through the hose pack (lay it out straight first) with
dry compressed air, from front to back.
Remove all weld nuggets inside the gas nozzle, using nozzle cleaner.
Check the contact tube. Due to the constant passage of wire, the bore tends to in-
crease in size with time, and the poor current transfer which results causes an un-
steady arc.
Tighten the central connection.
Check the level and the quality of the cooling water at regular intervals (top up or
change if necessary).
Keep an eye on the water return-flow in the coolant reservoir. If there is no cooling wa-
ter and the torch is used, this normally results in serious damage to the torch body or
the hose pack (i.e. no claims possible under warranty!)

sub-zero ambient temperatures, see the instruction manual for the machine in ques-
tion.
