The lighting on the shelves (when foreseen) and on the top panel provides good product
visibility, enhancing the product's visual appeal.
GLASS STRUCTURE - The glass structure is composed of two glass side panels and a front
window that makes it possible to:
• protect the contents of the display section from foreign matter
• create a system that, together with the other elements, can guarantee the technical
characteristics of the display case. The glass is made with a specific and carefully-designed
geometric shape in order to ensure maximum safety for the operator and above all for the
client.- The side glass panels are attached to the structure so that they cannot move or be
removed accidentally. The front glass can be lifted for easy maintenance. The glass assembly
comes complete with a curtain on the back side (the operator side), which makes it possible to
close the case at night. The curtain can be easily raised and lowered without requiring any
special effort. However, when lowering make sure it has latched correctly; when raising it, do it
slowly, keeping your hand on the handle.
WORK COUNTER - The "operator side" work counter is a continuance of the display section
and it is used by the operator as a counter while he is preparing the product to be served. It is
made of plastic-coated sheet metal with a wooden core, and it is fastened to the display section
with screws.
MOTOR COMPARTMENT (only on the cold table) - The motor is located in the back (lower
part) of the display. It contains all of the elements needed to keep the entire system operating.
Since it contains moving and/or live components, the entire area is protected from accidental
contact by two grills (one behind and one in front). These cannot be removed for any reason
other than maintenance. Nevertheless, maintenance can only be performed by a qualified
technician according to the instructions indicated in the "maintenance" chapter. The main
elements contained within the motor compartment include:
- compressor - condenser - ventilator - filters - a condensation collection tank
CONTROL PANEL - The control panel is the element that manages the operation of the
display case. This management (temperature control and maintenance, defrosting) is entrusted
to a command switchboard, which is present ONLY on the cold and hot tables (in waterbath
and dry). In any event, the operator can utilize this component to change the temperature
inside the display section. One o two push-buttons located on the control panel make it
possible to turn the display case on and off (with the switchboard), respectively, and to turn the
internal lighting on or off (Fig.9).
POSITIONING
The position of the display case is a very important
factor that can compromise proper machine
operation. Correct positioning influences the
life of the display case and its components.
Above all, however, it affects system operating
expenses. Our Technical Servicing Office can
give you any additional clarifications that may be
needed. NEVER PERFORM ANY OPERATIONS
THAT ARE NOT CLEAR. Using a water level, verify that the display case is perfectly flat. If
necessary, use wooden shims to compensate for any defects in the flooring. It is necessary to
NEVER position boxes or other that can prevent the passage of the air in front of the cooling
grates of the condensing unit. NEVER place the display case near:
• Doors
• Windows
• Sources of heat (e.g. radiators, heaters, etc.)
The display case must be protected from direct sunlight. NEVER place the display case
outdoors, since atmospheric agents will damage it, making it unreliable and dangerous for the
rigo
