Troubleshooting table
Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean
there is a defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you
can correct the malfunction.

Never attempt to repair the appliance yourself. This may put your own and future us-
ers' lives at risk. Only authorised specialists are allowed to carry out this repair work.

Check the socket with another appliance.
Check the fuse.
Check the tightness of the mains plug.
Even in the event of a mains failure, your fro-
zen food may remain sufficiently cold for some
time. The maximum storage time in the event
of a fault is shown on the appliance's type
plate.
Further cooling not required. When the inside
temperature rises, the compressor automati-
cally switches on.
Select a higher setting (see "Setting the re-
frigerator temperature" on page EN-18).
Select a lower setting (see "Setting the refrig-
erator temperature" on page EN-18).

Increase clearance or position an insulation
plate between the appliances.
Only store cooled foods.
Do not exceed the maximum freezing capac-
ity. The maximum freezing capacity is shown
on the appliance's type plate.
Adjust the ambient temperature to the
climate category (see "Intended use" on
page EN-4).
Activate 'Super Freeze mode' and 'Super
Cool mode' simultaneously (see "Operation"
on page EN-18). If the compressor does not
switch on within an hour, please contact our
Service department (see page EN-33).
