Setting the Variable zone
• To set the Variable zone, press the sensor
button VARIO TEMP. (22).
The setting range is
MEAT: Suitable for a small amount of
meat stored for 1–2 days.
BEVERAGE: Suitable for the storage of dry
goods and beverages.
FRUIT: Suitable for storing fruit and vege-
tables.
Switching the key lock on and
off
• To activate the button lock, press and hold
the sensor button LOCK/UNLOCK (21) for
3 seconds when unlocked.
The buzzer sounds.
• To deactivate the button lock, press and hold
the sensor button LOCK/UNLOCK for 3 sec-
onds when locked.
The buzzer sounds.
Water tank and water
dispenser
Filling the water tank
CAUTION
Health hazard!
Stale water may cause damage to
health.
■ Clean water tanks if they have not
been used for 48 hours; flush the
water system if water has not been
drawn for 5 days.
■ Use only potable water to fill the wa-
ter tank. Do not fill the water tank
with any other fluids.
■ Do not use hot water.

1. Flip open the cap (29) of the water tank (15).

2. Pour up to 2.2 litres of fresh tap water into
the water tank (15) and close the cap (29)
again.
