CAUTION – damage
The fi tted disposer fl ange must form a good seal with the sink; otherwise, there is a risk that
water from the sink will run down the disposer in the event of a leak, getting into the motor
and damaging it.
If a good seal is not possible with the enclosed accessories due to the nature of the sink,
use sealing material suitable for your sink (e.g. original BLANCO article number 214778 -
sealing compound for ceramic sinks or original BLANCO article number 120055 - fl exible
sealing tape).

CAUTION – damage
Water left standing for a long time can get into the motor and cause damage. The warranty
does not cover any motor damage due to the causes described here.
Align the disposer carefully during assembly to ensure that no water is left in the grinding
chamber. Please ensure that no water remains under the grinding disc either. The disposer's
waste water pipe must be mounted vertically downwards and the wall drain must be
lower than the disposer drain.
