Cable Management
Labeling:
Each cable is labeled at one end according to its intended use. The labeling corresponds
module.
Cable routing:
Most cables are rigid; they do not move when the CNC router is in operation. They must be routed so that they are not in
the way of any moving part during operation. There are three sets of cables that move during operation of the CNC router. These include
the spindle motor cable, the cables to the Z-axis limit switches, and the Z-axis stepper motor cable. These must remain free to move to
allow the X and Z axes to move through their full range of travel.
Cable protection:
A cable protection is supplied in the form of a cable snake which is wound over one or more cables. It is strongly
recommended
to use this for the free moving cables to protect them from damage due to abrasion.
Cable holder:
Run the cable(s) down the center of the holder, then run a cable tie through the end holes and over the cable(s). Wrap it
over the top of the cable(s) and then tighten
