3. Installation

The following installation steps are to be carried out in parallel with the installation of the wastewater
treatment installation kit. For easier installation, steps 1-4 can also be carried out before assembling the
Carat S half-shells.
1.
The sludge removal pipe is attached to a crossbar.
The crossbar is attached to the central rib in the
access area.
Use the crossbar to mark the exact position of the
holes to be drilled.

Mount the crossbar using the M8x40 bolts. Use
washers.

3. Installation
Drill a 9 mm hole to attach the crossbar to the
central rib.
Drill a hole at the opposite end as well.
Mount the DN 160 pipe clamp using one M8x40 bolt
in the third hole from the outside. The pipe clamp
must be mounted on the inlet side.
