7 Electrical connection
Only high‐insulation connection cables that generate little friction electricity
during movement must be used for piezoelectric sensors.
Connect the sensors to the connectors marked with "Sensor". The charge
amplifier must be connected to the connector labeled with "Charge Amplifier".
Important
A maximum total charge of 5,000,000 pC may be connected. A charge ampli-
fier must always be connected and switched on when the connected trans-
ducer is loaded.
Important
Screw the protective caps on when an input is not used or when the summing
box is to be stored. Otherwise, dirt may collect and this will reduce the insula-
tion resistance and cause increased drifting.
