Temperature Limits

WARNING
■ The battery is not protected against all ambi‐
ent conditions. If exposed to certain ambient
conditions, the battery may catch fire or
explode. This may result in serious injury to
people and damage to property.
► Do not charge or use the battery below
-20 °C or above +50 °C.
► Do not store the battery below -20 °C or
above +70 °C.
► Do not use the lawn scarifier below 0 °C or
above +50 °C.
► Do not store the lawn scarifier below -20 °C
or above +70 °C.
20.5 Recommended Temperature
Ranges
For optimum performance of the lawn scarifier
and battery, observe the following temperature
ranges:
– Lawn scarifier:
– Use: 0 °C to + 40 °C
– Storage: -20 °C to +50 °C
– Battery:
– Charging: +5 °C to +40 °C
– Use: -10 °C to +40 °C
– Storage: -20 °C to +50 °C
If the battery is charged, used or stored outside
the recommended temperature ranges, perform‐
ance may be reduced.
If the battery is wet or damp, allow it to dry for at
least 48 hours at above +15 °C and below
+50 °C and at less than 70% humidity. Higher
humidity may increase the drying time.
