tery have the following meaning:

Intended Use

The STIHL RLA 240.0 lawn scarifier is intended
for the following uses:
– With the scarifying roller: scarifying the lawn
– With the combing roller: combing the lawn
The lawn scarifier must not be used when it is
raining.
The lawn scarifier is supplied with power by a
STIHL AK battery.
STIHL recommends using the STIHL AK 20 or
STIHL AK 30 battery.
WARNING
■ Batteries not approved by STIHL for the lawn
scarifier may cause fires and explosions. This
may result in serious or fatal injury to people
and damage to property.
► Use the lawn scarifier with a STIHL AK bat‐
tery.
■ Failure to use the lawn scarifier or battery as
intended may result in serious or fatal injury to
people and damage to property.
► Use the lawn scarifier and battery as descri‐
bed in this instruction manual.
