• Before using the appliance, check the entire appliance including the mains
cable with plug and any accessories for defects that could impair the functional
safety of the appliance. If the appliance has e.g. dropped to the floor, damage
may have occurred that is not visible from the outside. Do not operate the
appliance in this case either.
• Check the plug and connecting cable for wear or damage on a regular basis.
If the connecting cable or other parts are damaged, the appliance must not be
used. Contact an authorised specialist workshop. Improper repairs may result
in considerable risks for the user and also invalidate the guarantee.
• Electrical appliances must be repaired by qualified professionals as safety
provisions must be observed and to avoid risks. The same applies to replacing
the mains cable.
• Please contact your retailer or an authorised specialist workshop therefore if a
fault occurs.
• Do not place the appliance close to sinks or washbasins, bathtubs, swimming
pools, etc. to avoid splashing water. Also be sure not to place the appliance on
a damp surface.
• Never immerse the appliance, the cable or the plug in water or other liquids.
To protect against electric shock, make sure that neither the appliance nor the
cable or the plug come into contact with water or other liquids.
• Do not touch the appliance with wet hands.
• Ensure that no water gets inside the appliance during cleaning.
• If the glass surface of the appliance is cracked or broken, the appliance must
be switched to standby mode immediately and disconnected from the mains in
order to avoid the risk of an electric shock.
