WArNINg! Read and observe all safety instructions below. Failure to
observe these instructions may result in considerable risks of accident
and injury as well as damage to property and the appliance.
• Keep these operating instructions for further use. These operating instructions
must also be provided if this induction hob is passed on to a third party.
• The appliance may only be used indoors, do not set it up outside.
• The appliance is not intended for commercial use.
• The appliance must never be left unattended while in use.
• This appliance may be used by children aged 8 and above as well as by persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and/or
knowledge, provided that they are supervised or have received instruction on
safe use of the appliance and have understood the hazards resulting from this.
• Children must not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children unless they are
8 years or older and are supervised.
• Keep children under the age of 8 away from the appliance and the connecting
cable.
• Children must not play with plastic bags due to the risk of suffocation. Do not
leave any packaging material (cardboard, polystyrene, etc.) within the reach of
children.
• Remove all packaging material from the appliance. The packaging material can
be recycled.
• The mains cable must not become crushed or jammed.
• Do not connect the appliance to a multi-plug socket.
• Place the appliance on a stable, level, heat-resistant, splash-resistant, dry and
non­slip surface.
• Switch off the appliance and disconnect the mains plug if
– the appliance is not in use.
– a malfunction occurs during operation.

• However, do not disconnect the appliance from the mains immediately after
use. Power is required to cool the appliance and this takes at least 15 seconds.
• Never pull the mains plug out of the socket by the connecting cable, always
grab hold of the mains plug itself.
• Do not pull on the mains cable to move the appliance. This might result in
invisible damage.
• The appliance must not be moved with a pan or cooking pot on it.
• Make sure that no objects fall onto the hob.
