WArNINg – hot surfaces!
• The heat radiating from the pan can heat up the glass surface of the appliance.
• Allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning.
• Make sure that the connecting cable does not hang over the worktop and avoid
any contact with hot surfaces.
WArNINg! Fire hazard!
• The appliance is not intended to be operated with an external timer or a
separate remote control system.
• Food can easily catch fire if it overheats, especially when the food contains fat
and oil.
• Do not place any metal objects (e.g. knives, forks, spoons, lids) on the hob as
these could become hot.
• The appliance must not be installed into a cabinet or worktop.
• Keep the appliance away from other sources of heat (hot plates, open fire,
direct sunlight, etc.).
• Do not use the appliance near easily flammable / explosive liquids or materials
(e.g. curtains, spray cans, etc.).
• Do not operate the appliance near or underneath wall cabinets, curtains or
other combustible materials.
• Do not cover the appliance, in particular the venting slots.
• Ensure that there is adequate space for air to circulate around the appliance;
keep it at a distance of around 10 cm away from other objects or walls.
• Do not place any burning candles on the appliance.
• Do not move the appliance when hot – always allow it to cool down before
moving!
WArNINg! electromagnetic fields!
• People with pacemakers should speak to their doctor before using the
appliance, as usage could affect the functioning of the pacemaker.
• Maintain an adequate distance from other objects that react to magnetic fields
(e.g. TVs or radios, magnetic tapes, credit cards, etc.).
