I. Installation of the receiver
This chapter will guide you through the whole installation process of the receiver. Please
read each section carefully to make sure that the system runs properly.
1. Connecting Satellite Cables
The receiver is a Quad Tuner STB which allows you to connect up to 4 satellite, cable, and/or terres-
trial connections. One of the first steps is to connect satellite cable(s) to STB in order to gain optimal
signal quality. You can either choose one of the following connection methods depending on the
equipment you have.
A. Four Separate Satellite/Cable/Terrestrial Cables
In case you have four separate satellite, cable, or terrestrial cables providing different broadcast
signals, you can configure TUNER A Input and TUNER B-D Input independently.

B. Internal Loop-through
In case you have only one satellite cable, connect the cable to input of TUNER A. Then connect the
loop-though cable from TUNER A output to TUNER B input.
C. Combination of DVB-S/-S2/-C/-T/-T2
Connect a various combination of satellite, cable, and terrestrial connection to your TUNER A-D.
