TROUBLESHOOTING
For all errors, an error code is displayed on the Display. The troubleshooting table below suggests corrective
actions to resolve the error. Please contact Sparx Hockey at help@sparxhockey.com with any questions
regarding error codes.
ERROR CODE
22 Door open.
Grinding Ring has insufficient life remaning for

selected sharpening operation.
28 Door open during sharpening.
29 Air filter full (0% remaining)
30 Air filter missing
31 Grinding Ring not found.
Sharpener failed to detect skate

34 Emergency stop: Cancel button pressed twice.

Grinding ring read / write error
40 Bluetooth failed to connect
41 Hardware circuit failure
44 Grinding Motor Fault (Undercurrent)
45 Grinding Motor Fault (Overcurrent)
48 FileSystem Incompatibility
49 Team Machine: XG ring installed
52 Grinding ring did not reach the right limit switch.
53 Grinding ring did not reach the left limit switch.
ERROR CODES
CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION
Close Door.
You will need to reduce your cycles or install a different ring.
Close the door then press Cancel button to reset sharpener.
Replace air filter.
Install air filter.
Install a valid Grinding Ring.
Load a skate into Sharpener
Make sure machine is safe before resetting.
Error reading/writing grinding ring. Please try a different grinding ring.
Please check bluetooth settings on your phone.
