Connection of the power sources
The transmitter may be operated with either 8 round
cell (1.5 volts robbe Order No. 8008) or 8 NC batte-
ries (robbe Order No. 8004 or 8009). 4 round cells
are required for the receiver box. Here, too, the other
alternative is to use 4 NC batteries.
Open the battery compartment cover. Locate the
cover and slide it forward. When connecting the bat-
teries, please take care to maintain correct polarity
(connect "+" to "+" and "-" to "-".
If you are not going to use the system for some time,
remember to remove dry cell batteries from the trans-
mitter and receiver battery box, as they might begin
to leak. Should this happen, the leakage could cause
irreparable damage to the transmitter and box.
If you ned models with glow motor power we strongly
recommend the use of rechargeable batteries, espe-
cially for the receiver battery.
If NC batteries are used, they must be charged
before use.
