2. Remove all accessories and removable
shelf supports.
3. Make sure that the water drawer is
empty. If necessary, turn on the function:
Tank Emptying - S1.
4. Turn on the appliance.
5. Place the deep pan on the first shelf
position.
6. Put 250 ml of the descaling agent in the
water drawer.
7. Fill the remaining part of the water drawer
with water to the maximum level until the
signal sounds or the display shows the
message.
8. - press repeatedly until the display
shows S3.
Duration: 1 h 40 min
9. When the function ends, remove the deep
pan.
When this function works, the lamp is off.
10. When the appliance is cold, dry the cavity
with a soft cloth.
11. Leave the oven door open and wait until
the oven interior is dry.
12. Turn on the function: Rinsing. Refer to
Care and Cleaning chapter, "How to use:
Rinsing - S4".
If some limestone residue remains in the
appliance after descaling, the display prompts
to repeat the procedure.

12.8 Descaling reminder

There are two reminders which prompt you to
descale the appliance. You cannot disable
the descaling reminder.
• Soft reminder - recommends you to
descale the appliance.
• Hard reminder - obligates you to descale
the appliance. If you do not descale the
appliance when the hard reminder is on,
the steam functions are disabled.
When the reminders are active S3 flashes on
the display. These reminders activate each
time you turn off the appliance.
12.9 How to use: Rinsing - S4
1. Make sure the appliance is cold.

until the oven interior is dry.

12.10 Replacing the lamp

WARNING!
Risk of electric shock.
The lamp can be hot.
1. Turn off the appliance and wait until it is
cold.
2. Disconnect the appliance from the mains.
3. Place the cloth on the oven floor.
Top lamp
1. Turn the glass cover to remove it.
2. Remove the metal ring and clean the
glass cover.
3. Replace the lamp with a suitable 300 °C
heat-resistant lamp.
4. Attach the metal ring to the glass cover
and install it.
