Troubleshooting table

Malfunctions can occur in all electrical appliances. This does not necessarily mean there is a
defect in the appliance. For this reason, please check the tables to see if you can correct the
malfunction.

Never try to repair a defective or suspected defective appliance yourself. You can

lowed to carry out this repair work.

Check the socket with another appliance.
Check the tightness of the mains plug.
Further cooling not required. When the
inside temperature rises, the compressor
automatically switches on.
Select a higher setting (see "Setting the
temperature" on page EN-17).
Select a lower setting (see "Setting the
temperature" on page EN-17).
See 'Checking and cleaning the door seals'
on page EN-21.
Place insulation plate between the appli-
ances or change location.
Adhere to the minimum wall distances (see
"Choosing a suitable location" on page
EN-10).
Do not exceed the maximum. bottle num-
ber (see "Intended use" on page EN-4).
Adjust ambient temperature (see "Intended
use" on page EN-4).
Set the temperature to '4'. If the compres-
sor does not switch on within an hour,
please contact our service department (see
page EN-24).
Humming: Refrigeration unit is running.
Flowing noise: Refrigerant is flowing
through the pipes.
Clicking: Compressor is switching on or off.
Check that it is stable.
Remove any objects from the appliance.
Remove any foreign matter from the back
of the appliance.
