Rooftop installation
The following tables show for each installation situation:
•
the way of fastening (screws, clamps, insertion system)
•
the frame areas, approved for fastening
•
the maximum permitted pressure- and suction load on the modules
Mounting with 4 screws
Only use the holes provided in the frame
Max. permitted pressure load up to: 6,750 Pa (test load 10,125 Pa)
Max. permitted suction load up to: 2,400 Pa (test load 3,600 Pa)
Mounting with 4 clamps (long side)
Min. clamp surface area: 8 x 40 mm
a) Max. permitted pressure load up to: 1,600 Pa (test load 2,400 Pa
Max. permitted suction load up to: 1,600 Pa (test load 2,400 Pa)

In this mounting variant, due to the high load, the module
can touch the mounting rails. To avoid damage to the glass, a
rubber coating must be provided on the rails.
The middle clamps may also be mounted in the middle of the
long frame sides if there is no mounting rail under the center of
the module. Otherwise, the clamp position must be mounted
offset from the center so as not to endanger the junction box
at maximum load.
Max. permitted pressure load up to: 8,100 Pa (test load 12,150 Pa)
Max. permitted suction load up to: 3,600 Pa (test load 5,400 Pa)
Mounting with 4 clamps
Place the clamps on the positions of the
holes provided in the frame
Mounting with 6 clamps (long side)
(Option with max. possible load)
