Short time exposure limit, threshold of an exposition
over a short period of time (generally 15 minutes).
TWA
Time weighted average, average shift values are gen-
erally limited to eight hours exposure per day per work-
place for 5 days a week during a work lifetime. Observe
the national definition of the occupational exposure
limit.

Preparations for operation
Prerequisites

Before using the instrument for the first time, the enclosed batteries or a
charged T4 NiMH power pack (Order No. 83 18 704/83 22 244) must be
inserted (see "Replacing the batteries/rechargeable batteries", page 24).
