11.7 Data import [Data load]

Connect a USB memory device to the controller9s
USB port.
ï
The files to be imported must be stored in the
folder <DMX MOVE CONTROLLER 512 PRO<
located on the root directory of the USB memory
device.

Call the menu item [Data load].
ï
The display indicates <Press number key Select
file< (select file with number button).
ï
The LED of a number button lights, when data is
available on the USB memory device for this
memory bank.

Select the file to be loaded with the number
buttons at the lower right corner.
ï
The display indicates a progress bar.

After successful completion of the data import, the
device returns to the main menu level. Repeat the
steps 2 and 3 to import further files.
11.8 Blackout Function [Black-out
mode]
It is possible to define whether all control channels react
on the button BLACKOUT or only the dimmer control
channel.

Call the menu item [Black-out].

Use the PAN wheel to choose between the
settings [All channels] and [Only dimmer].
ï
All channels: All control channels react on the
button (i.e. in the blackout state the control
channels have the value zero).
ï
Only dimmer: Only the dimmer control channel
reacts on the BLACKOUT button (i.e. in the
blackout state the control channel has the value
zero).

Confirm your setting with ENTER.
ï
The display shortly indicates <SAVE OK< and
returns to the main menu level.

11.9 Fog Machine [Fog machine
control]
The controller can operate a DMX fog machine. This
menu allows adjusting the machine.

Call the menu item [Fog machine control].

Use the PAN wheel to choose between the
settings Auto FOG [OFF] and Auto FOG [ON].

Auto FOG [OFF]: By pressing the DMX FOG
MACHINE button, the fog machine is activated.
ï
Auto FOG [ON]: The fog machine is activated by
the built-in timer. The time intervals and duration
are adjustable.

Press the SWAP button to adjust the timer
functions.

Use the PAN and TILT wheel to adjust the
duration and the time intervals (i.e. the time
between the individual fog outputs) between 1 and
600 seconds.
EXAMPLE
emit fog for 3 seconds every 60 seconds, adjust
the [ON TIME] to 3 seconds and the [OFF TIME] to
60 seconds. For a hazer, which is supposed to
emit fog continuously, adjust an [ON TIME] of 600
seconds and an [OFF TIME] of 1 second.

Press the SWAP button. Then use the PAN wheel
to enter the DMX address for the fog machine9s
first control channel and the TILT wheel to enter
the DMX value.

Press the SWAP button once again to set up a
second control channel.

Confirm your settings with ENTER.
ï
To confirm the memory procedure, all LEDs of the
controller flash three times.

After completing the settings, press ESC to return
to the main menu level.
