11. CLEANING AND CARE

The product does not require any maintenance, do not disassemble it. Maintenance or repairs
may be carried out by a professional only.
Before cleaning, always complete charging and disconnect the rechargeable battery from the
charging cable. Then unplug the plug from the mains socket.
Clean the exterior of the product using a clean, soft, dry cloth only. You can easily remove dust
using a clean, soft brush or a vacuum cleaner.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage the
housing causing discoloration and/or malfunction.

12. DISPOSAL

a) General

At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable
regulatory guidelines.

b) (Rechargeable) batteries

You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/rechar-
geable batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labelled with this symbol to indicate that
disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals
involved are: Cd=Cadmium, Hg=Quecksilber, Pb=Blei (Label is on (rechargeable)
battery e.g. beneath the bin symbol depicted on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our
stores or wherever (rechargeable) batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
