GridScan/LR
4. Introduction
The GridScan/LR is a safeguarding light curtain specifically
designed for long range applications, e.g. aircraft hanger
doors or platform applications. With a cross section of 50
mm x 56.5 mm, the optical emitter and receiver edges
remain compact.
The GridScan/LR offers maximum safeguarding according
to the latest standards at an excellent price-performance
ratio. It is the ideal sensor solution for reliable operation
over long distances.

5. Overview
The emitter and receiver edges form a protective area with
straight beams. A built-in controller is integrated into the
Rx edge. The device provides a signal output that is used
to prevent potentially hazardous or damaging motion into
a specified area.
