7. Periodic maintenance

Cleaning the filter
The only maintenance work to be carried out periodically is the cleaning of the filter.
Under normal conditions cleaning should take place once a month.
In dusty rooms, it is necessary to clean the filter twice or even several times. To
clean the filter, it is held under running water, so that the water rinses the filter in the
direction of the air flow from the narrow to the wide side of the filter. The filters
should be changed after approx. ½ a year. Please note that by using clean filters
the effectiveness of the dehumidifier increases considerably.
These filters can be acquired from HEYLO as spare parts. Please contact us
