1. Safety instructions

Dehumidifiers of the DRYTECH series must always be connected to power sockets
with protective contacts. When using the equipment the relevant safety instructions
must be observed at all costs (compare the regulations in the individual German states,
professional and trade associations, etc.)
All repair and service work must be carried out exclusively by qualified and authorised
staff.
While it is running, the equipment must be kept in a vertical position. Attention:
condensed water in the tank can leak out of the container if used incorrectly or if the
equipment is transported while it is being run. The water can then come into contact
with electrical parts. Pull out the mains plug and disconnect the equipment from the
power supply before starting any work.
Safety margins: The DRYTECH device sucks in air at the back of the device and blows
dehumidified air out again at the front. The minimum distance of the back of the device
from walls or other wall areas must be at least 15 cm.
The device cannot be operated in narrow rooms, where air circulation is not
guaranteed. The device can be placed at the side of walls without impairing its
function.
Dehumidifiers of the DRYTECH series are manufactured taking the relevant safety
standards into consideration. Attention: do not place or hold any object in the fan or
the grate in front of the fan.
You can clean the surface of the device with a moist cloth or something similar. To
clean the vaporised surfaces, blow off the blades with nitrogen or air whenever
applicable and if necessary straighten them with a comb-like lamellae for adjusting
purposes.
Do not clean equipment with high pressure cleaners or aggressive detergents!!!
Attention: always ensure free inflow and outflow of air, do not cover or block the grate.
Clean the filter regularly: cleaning takes place once a month on average. If the device
is run in very dusty rooms, it has to be cleaned more often. Cleaning is described in
more detail in Chapter 7. If the filter is dirty, the air flow is reduced, dehumidification
decreases and the device can be damaged.
