Protect each through hole in the vehicle housing against water penetration, e. g, by using a cable with
sealant and spraying the cable and the sleeve with sealant.
NOTE Do not start sealing through holes until all installation work on the camera has been
completed.
7.2
Installation location
Observe the following:
•
The installation surface of the camera must be firm.
•
The location on the vehicle body where the camera is to be installed must be firm enough to securely
mount the camera.
•
The cameras must be mounted as high as possible and close to the center of the vehicle as possible.

The installation location of the camera must be as perpendicular as possible.
7.3
Positioning the cameras
1.
If neccesarry, place a 1 cm spacer under the camera bracket to avoid the camera cable from pinching and
damaging.

2. Position the cameras with adhesive tape in the desired location.

3. Ensure that the specified distances are kept.

4. Connect the camera system (Fig. ) according to the wiring diagram (Fig. ).
