HemoSphere ClearSight Module
Carefully read these instructions for use and all
contained warnings and cautions before using this
product.
Description
The HemoSphere ClearSight module is a reusable
device which in conjunction with the HemoSphere
advanced monitor and connected compatible
pressure controller, heart reference sensor, and
finger cuff(s) constitutes the HemoSphere
noninvasive system. The HemoSphere noninvasive
system measures patient brachial artery blood
pressure and provides continuous calculation of
cardiac output (CO), stroke volume (SV), pulse
pressure variation (PPV), and stroke volume
variation (SVV). Systemic vascular resistance (SVR)
can also be calculated when a central venous
pressure (CVP) value is available. When connected
to an Acumen IQ finger cuff additional parameters
are available that provide the clinician with
information on the likelihood of a hypotensive
event.

Indications for Use
The HemoSphere advanced monitor when used
with the HemoSphere ClearSight module, pressure
controller and an Edwards finger cuff are indicated
for patients over 18 years of age in which the
balance between cardiac function, fluid status and
vascular resistance needs continuous assessment. It
may be used for monitoring hemodynamic
parameters in conjunction with a perioperative
goal directed therapy protocol in a hospital
