OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Drill depth is set by screw II:24. Push button II:25 and the spindle is fed down.
When pres-set depth is raeched the feeding stops and the spindle retums to initial
position. To stop feeding before pre-set depth is reached press button II:26.
Pushing of emergency stop II:27 stops both motor and feed. Restarting is made by
turning emergency button and pushing of button for motor protection II:45.
Fine feeding with handwheel II:25 is done by shifting feed gear to neutral position
by means of III:44 and by engaging magnetic clutch by means of II:25.
The tool ejector II:29 is placed under the switch. For ejection of tools please proceed
as follows:
Feed down the spindle about 5 mm. Push in, as far as possible, the lever of the tool
ejector. Push the spindle towards top position with the down feed arm and hold
simultaneously the tool to prevent it from fälling on the table. Pull out the handle of
the tool ejector. A new tool can now be inserted.
Adjustment of feed speed:
Is done by handwheel III:44.
Shifting can take place both when the machine is at stand still and running. In case
shifting should seize, the handwheel II:28 is to be braked by hand when the machine
is running. At stand still the hand wheel is slowly tumed as the gear is engaged. See
description of the functioning of the feed gear box. The feed speeds and their
positions are shown on a sign III:46.
MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Lubrication:
Before delivery from the factory, grease is placed on all hearings and gears in the
machine. After 2-3000 hours running, please dismantle the gear box for placing new
grease. On lubrication throuh the oil nipples, placed on the machine, please only use
best quality of machine oil. For oil level in the feed gear box, please find a level plug
(III:47) on the back of the cover.
