General safety regulations
All machines with rotating tools or details can cause injury. Therefor it is important
that you as an operator are aware of those risks do your very best to avoid in jury.
• W ear such clothing and personal protective equipment that you do not get caught
in rotating tools.
• W ear safety glasses if there is any risk of chips or coolant splash, or if there are
such local regulations.
• Keep work areas well cleaned to avoid fälling towards rotating tools.
• Be sure that work piece is anchored securely to table. Never use your hands to
hold the work piece.
• Always make sure that the switch is in the OFF position when changing tools or
when cleaning the machine. Never brush away chips while the machine is in
operation.
• Always use right tools. Do not force tool to do a job it was not designed for.
• Always make sure that drill head and table are securely locked to the machine
prior to starting the machine.
