Appliance description
The safety assembly combines those valves specified by DIN
1988, DIN 4753-1 and SR2 TRD 721 for connection on the water
side of sealed unvented electrically heated DHW cylinders up to
200 l capacity (KV 30, KV 307, KV 40). If the supply line pressure
exceeds 0.5 MPa, a pressure reducer can be installed or retrofitted
upstream to replace the connecting pipe.

Instructions and regulations
Size the drain for a fully opened safety valve. The blow-off aperture
of the safety valve must remain open towards the atmosphere.
Install the safety assembly blow-off line with a continuous
downward slope.
The safety valve requires regular maintenance and operation to
remove deposits and ensure it remains unblocked.
Select a max. flow rate of 18 l/min at the shut-off valve of the
safety assembly.

Observe the operating and installation instructions of the sealed
unvented DHW cylinders.

Before installing the safety assembly, compare the permissible
operating pressure of the wall mounted DHW cylinder with the
corresponding pressure of the safety valve

!
In general ensure that cold water and DHW connections
on the wall and cylinder sides are fully inserted. Use
an elbow wall disc when installing the safety assembly
on a finished wall.
