Safety instructions
The following individual parts must not be modified or removed. They must always be kept in good
condition.
The timer stops immediately once the lid of the cleaning tank is opened. This ensures that no
-
accident can occur due to solvents sprayed by the operator.
The safety valve control rod automatically shuts off the supply of the solvent if the operator opens

the lid of the cleaning tank without first turning off the timer.
The lower front door must always be closed during operation

The removal of the earthing cable or disconnecting the connection to the machine or the earth.

2.4 The following measures must be taken in the rooms in which the HR 3000 has been set up
before it is put into operation for the first time.
- Suitable fire extinguishers (CO2 or BC powder) must be installed within easy reach.
Underneath, portable fire extinguishers must be available according to the fire extinguishing
regulations of the local fire brigade. The installed fire extinguishers must be checked regularly by
an authorized person or institution and must always be kept in a clean condition.
- It is forbidden to use water to extinguish fire. Burning materials can

3. Using the machine
3.1
Preparation
Before using the machine, familiarise yourself with the HR 3000, the manual and how it operates.

The HR 3000 must only be operated by healthy, qualified people, who have been properly

instructed.
Do not drill holes in the HR 3000 or machine the surface of the HR 3000 with spark-generating
-
tools.
Only cellulose thinners may be used for cleaning.

Do not use chlorinated solvents or those containing fluorocarbons, such as trichloroethylene,
-
methyl chlorides or similar halogenated hydrocarbon-based substances.
It is important to check that the solvent is not corrosive before changing the cleaning fluid. Stop
-
the cleaning process immediately and replace the cleaning agent if there are signs of
decomposition on the hoses or corrosion on the storage grate or in the cleaning tank.
Should the skin or eyes nevertheless come into contact with the cleaning agents used, immediately
-
rinse the affected area under running water.
Before each use of the HR 3000, check it in accordance with the safety regulations.

Before each use, check that the supply and suction hoses are inserted into the respective

containers in the bottom of the machine. Make sure that the hoses are not bent or kinked too
much and also check them regularly for damage and potentially replace them immediately.
Regularly check that the suction hose is always sufficiently immersed in the solvent to prevent the
pump from running dry.
