Electrical connection
The unit must be connected to the
earth terminal (see Fig. 16).
– It must be possible to isolate all poles of
the unit from the mains, e.g. by means of
fuses with an isolating distance of at least
3 mm.
– In the case of a concealed connection the
power lead must protrude at least 30 mm
with insulation from the wall (Fig. 18).
– Priority circuit:
When combined with other electrical
appliances, e.g. electrical storage water
heaters, the load-shedding relay as per
Fig. 17 should be used.

3 Load-shedding relay (see special
accessories). The load is disconnec-ted
when the DHE is operated!
The phase that switches the load-
shedding relay may only be
connected to the marked terminal on the
unit's terminal strip as malfunctions could
otherwise occur in the operation of the
priority circuit.
% Power connection in lower section of unit
The unit as delivered is prepared for
electrical connection in the lower section of
the unit (Fig. 19).
– The cable sleeve supplied (item 4) must be
used to protect against water ingress!
– Connect the power lead to the terminal
strip (Fig. 19, item 5) as per Fig. 16.

% Power connection in upper section of
unit
Prepare the unit for power connection in the
upper section (Fig. 20).
1. Knock out marked inlet opening in unit's
rear panel.
2. Shorten the cable grommet in order to
seal lubricate the interior with washing-up
liquid (slideable) and insert in the back
plate
3. Release the plastic profile angle element.
4. Remove terminal strip.
5. Fit terminal strip in upper section of unit.
6. Screw must be moved. Ensure that
interconnecting wires do not protrude
beyond unit's rear panel.
7. Fit the plastic profile angle element.
Connecting power cable
To provide protection against the
penetration of water, the plastic profile angle
element and the cable grommet must be
fitted as shown in Fig. 20.
Connect power cable as per Fig. 16.

Raccordement électrique
L'appareil doit être connecté au
conducteur de protection (voir
fig. 16) conformément aux réglementations
en vigueur.
– L'appareil doit pouvoir être déconnecté du
réseau par l'intermédiaire d'un dispositif de
coupure omnipolaire, p. ex. des fusibles,
présentant une distance de coupure mini-
male de 3 mm.
– En cas de montage encastré, le câble
d'alimentation non dénudé doit dépasser
d'au moins 30 mm du mur (fig. 18).
– Commande prioritaire:
En cas de fonctionnement simultané avec
d'autres appareils électriques, tels que des
appareils de chauffage électrique à
accumulation, il convient d'installer un relais
d'intensité comme indiqué à la fig. 17.

à accumulation) à délester.
2 Contact commandé, s'ouvre lors de la
mise en service du DHE.
3 Relais d'intensité (voir accessoires
spécifiques). Le délestage des appareils

fonctionnement du DHE!
Raccorder impérativement la phase
de commande du relais d'intensité à
la borne repérée à cet effet sur le bornier
de l'appareil, sous peine de provoquer un
dysfonctionnement de la commande
prioritaire.
% Raccordement à la partie inférieure de
l'appareil
L'appareil est livré en vue d'un raccorde-ment
électrique en partie basse (fig. 19).
– Le passe-fil en caoutchouc fourni (pos. 4)
doit être utilisé de sorte à protéger le
câble contre les infiltrations d'eau!
– Raccorder le câble au bornier (fig. 19,
pos. 5) comme indiqué à la figure 16.
Terminer l'installation, voir page 25.
% Raccordement à la partie supérieure de
l'appareil
Préparer l'appareil en vue du raccordement
électrique à la partie supérieure (fig. 20).
1. Percer l'orifice d'entrée de câble repéré sur
le panneau arrière de l'appareil.
2. Raccourcir le passe-câble assurant
l'étanchéité, introduire à l'intérieur du liqui-
de vaisselle pour faciliter le montage
(meilleur coulissement) et effectuer la mise
en place dans le panneau arrière.
3. Desserrer la cornière en matière plastique.
4. Démonter le bornier.
5. Monter le bornier dans la partie
supérieure de l'appareil.
6. Pour ce faire, déplacer la vis de fixation.
Veiller à ce que les torons ne dépassent
pas au-dessus du dos de l'appareil.
7. Remonter la cornière en matière plastique.
Réalisation du raccordement électrique
Pour prévenir les infiltrations d'eau, monter la
cornière en matière plastique et le presse-
étoupe conformément à la figure 20.
Réaliser le raccordement électrique comme
indiqué à la figure 16.
Terminer l'installation, voir page 25.

Elektrische aansluiting
Het toestel moet op de veiligheids-
aardleiding worden aangesloten (zie
Afb. 16).
– Het toestel moet, b.v. door zekeringen, over
een minimale afstand van 3 mm alpolig van
het net kunnen worden losgekoppeld.
– Bij inbouw-aansluiting moet de aansluit-
leiding tenminste 30 mm geïsoleerd uit de
wand steken (Afb. 18).
– Voorrangschakeling:
bij combinatie met andere elektrische
toestellen, b.v. elektrische boilers, moet het
voorangsrelais vlg. Afb. 17 gemonteerd
worden.
1 Stuurleiding naar het schakelrelais van
het tweede toestel (b.v. elektrische
boiler).
2 Stuurcontact, verbreekt bij het
inschakelen van de DHE.
3 Lastdumprelais (zie speciale accessoires).
De lastdumping geschiedt tijdens
bedrijf van de DHE!
De fase, die het lastdumprelais
schakelt, mag uitsluitend aan de
gekenmerkte klem van de toestel-
contactstrip worden aangesloten, omdat
anders functiestoringen in de
voorrangschakeling optreden.
% Aansluiting onderin het toestel.
Het toestel is bij aflevering voor elektrische
aansluiting onderin het toestel voorbereid
(Afb. 19).
– Ter afdichting tegen indringend water moet
de meegeleverde kabeltule (Pos. 4) worden
gebruikt!
– Aansluitleiding overeenkomstig Afb. 16 aan
de contactstrip (Afb. 19, pos. 5) aansluiten.
Montage voltooien, zie Pagina 25.
% Aansluiting bovenin het toestel
Het toestel voor elektrische aansluiting
bovenin voorbereiden (Afb. 20).
1. De gemarkeerde invoeropening in de
achterwand van het toestel uitbreken.
2. Kabelinvoerbuisje ter afdichting verkorten,
binnen voor een betere montage
(geleiding) met afwasmiddel inwrijven en in
de achterzijde monteren.
3. Kunststof-hoekprofiel losmaken.
4. Contactstrip losnemen.
5. Contactstrip bovenin het toestel
monteren.
6. Bevestigingsschroef verplaatst.
Let er op, dat de verbindingsdraden niet
tot tegen de achterwand uitsteken.
7. Kunststof-hoekprofiel monteren.
Elektrische aansluiting uitvoeren
Ter bescherming tegen indringend water
moet het kunststof-hoekprofiel en de
kabeltule overeenkomstig Afb. 20 worden
aangebracht!
De elektrische aansluiting overeenkomstig
Afb. 16 tot stand brengen.
Montage voltooien, zie Pagina 25.
