Important information
Air in the cold water line can destroy
the bare-wire heating system of the
unit, or actuate the safety system.
If the water supply to the DHE was
interrupted - e.g. because of the risk of
frost or because of work on the water
pipe, the following must be done before
using the unit again:
1. Remove or switch off fuses.
2. Open and close the hot-water tap which
is connected to the DHE several times
until the unit and the cold-water pipe
are free of air.
3. Replace or switch on fuses again.
The DHE is equipped with an air
detection system which largely
prevents damage to the heating
system:
If air enters the DHE during operation, the
unit shuts down for a few seconds,
thereby protecting the heating system.
Note:
This function can also be activated by
reopening the fitting directly after closing
it.
All the information in these operating and
installation instructions must be very
carefully followed. Important tips relating
to the safety, operation, installation and
maintenance of the unit are contained.
These instructions must be handed to the
user.

Observations importantes
La présence d'air dans la conduite
d'arrivée d'eau froide risque de
détruire le système de chauffage à fil nu de
l'appareil ou de déclencher le système de
sécurité.
Si l'arrivée d'eau du DHE a été
interrompue, p. ex. du fait du gel ou suite
à des travaux sur la canalisation, procéder
comme suit pour la remise en état:
1. Dévisser ou déclencher les protections.
2. Ouvrir et ferme le robinet d'eau chaude
en aval de le DHE plusieurs fois jusqu'à
l'appareil et la tuyauterie d'arrivée d'eau
froide soient exempts d'air.
3. Revisser ou renclencher les protections.
Le DHE est équipé d'un système de
détection de présence d'air qui
permet, dans une large mesure,
d'éviter tout endommagement du
système de chauffe.
Si de l'air pénètre dans le DHE durant le
fonctionnement, l'appareil coupe la
puissance pendant une quelques seconds
afin de protéger le système de chauffe.
Nota:
Cette fonction peut aussi être activée en
rouvrant un robinet immédiatement après
l'avoir fermé.
Toutes les informations contenues dans la
présente notice d'utilisation et de montage
doivent être respectées scrupuleusement.
Elles fournissent des indications
importantes concernant la sécurité
d'utilisation, le fonctionnement, l'installation
et l'entretien de l'appareil. Remettre cette

Belangrijke aanwijzingen!
Door lucht in de koudwaterleiding
kan het blankdraad-verwarmingssys-
teem van het toestel defect raken of het
veiligheidssysteem geactiveerd worden.
Werd de watertoevoer van de DHE
afgesloten - b.v. wegens vorstge-vaar of
door werkzaamheden aan de waterleiding,
dan moeten alvorens de DHE weer in
gebruik te nemen de volgende stappen
worden uitgevoerd:
1. Zekeringen uitschroeven resp.
uitschakelen.
2. Een zich na het toestel bevindende
warmwaterkraan zo lang meervoudig
openen en sluiten, tot het toestel en de
koudwatertoevoerleiding volledig
ontlucht zijn.
3. Zekeringen weer inschroeven resp.
inschakelen.
De DHE is met een luchtdetector
uitgerust, waardoor een bescha-
diging van het verwarmingssysteem
zo veel mogelijk wordt voorkomen:
Wordt tijdens bedrijf lucht in de geiser
DHE meegevoerd, dan schakelt het toestel
enige secoden uit en beveiligt zodoende
het verwarmingssysteem.
Opmerking:
Deze functie kan ook geactiveerd worden
door de kraan te openen en direct hierna
weer te sluiten.
Alle informaties in deze gebruiks- en
montagehandleiding moeten zeer
zorgvuldig in acht worden genomen. Deze
bevatten belangrijke aanwijzingen omtrent
de veiligheid, de bediening, het installeren
en het onderhoud van het toestel.
