3. Before Your First Ride
3.05 Pump tires
The tires are pumped in our factory. They can deflated in storage, so pump up your tires before your first ride. All Electric Two's have a
Presta (French) valve.

Step 1 : Locate and open the valve
Locate the valve inside the wheel and rotate it to a position where you can easily access it
with a pump. Unscrew the dust cap.
Open the Presta valve by loosening the top.
Step 2 : Pump tires
Place the pump over the valve and fill the tires between 3 and 4 bar.
Make sure you have the correct pump or adapter for Presta. If not, you can get an
adapter at your local bike shop.
Step 3 : Check tires
Check if the tires have the correct tension. You can do this putting your thumb on the tire
and your other fingers on the rim (gripping the wheel). Then press with your thumb to check
pressure. Spin the wheel to see if no wobbles show. A wobble can indicate that the tire is
incorrectly placed in the rim. If so, deflate, adjust and inflate again until it is gone. Put the dust
cap back on.
A wobble in the tire indicates that the innertube is placed incorrectly. This can cause
damage to the innertube, causing a flat tire.
