CHECKING THE OUTPUT BACKFLOW PREVENTER
1. To check the outlet backflow preventer (RV 2),
the medium pressure zone must first be comple-
tely drained.
3. If water drips from the drain funnel, there is a
mechanical defect or contamination of the outlet
backflow preventer.
In this case, the system separator cartridge must
be cleaned or replaced.

9. Vent the fitting
via the two needle
valves. Close the
two needle valves
again.
Press the HotKey
button 2x to close
the shut-off valve
on the inlet side.
11. Open the needle
valve 1 and slowly
release the pressure
(a few drops).

5. Press the HotKey
1x to activate filling
and open the inlet-
side shut-off valve.
12. Close the needle valve again. Observe the
drain funnel. The differential pressure must be
above 140mbar and the inlet backflow preventer
(RV1) must close completely again, otherwise
there is contamination or a mechanical defect.
Open needle valve 1 further and relieve the
intermediate pressure zone until it is completely
empty.
4. Remove the gauge, disassemble the needle
valves and reassemble the manometer plugs.
