MAINTENANCE
CHECKING THE ISOLATING FUNCTION OF THE RELIEF
VALVE
The isolating function as well as the function of the outlet backflow preventer must be checked annually
according to DIN EN 806, part 5, in order to ensure proper functioning of the backflow preventer.
1. Pull off the
insulation shell off.
3. Close the shut-off
valve on the outlet
side.
5. Install the two
maintenance ball
valves.
7. Mount the meter
and open the shut-
off valve on the
outlet side.
2. Press the HotKey
button 2x to deac-
tivate filling and
close the input-side
shut-off valve.

4. Remove the plug

of the inlet (1) and
intermediate pressu-
re chambers (2).

6. Mount the two
needle valves of
the meter to the
maintenance ball
valves.
8. Press the HotKey
1x to activate filling
and open the inlet-
side shut-off valve.
