PREPARATION
Use the hardness measuring set supplied to determine the raw water hardness. Take raw water from
any tap upstream of the heating system and measure the hardness of the water.
To adjust the initial hardness, turn the blending valve ( fig.1) in the direction of HARD to increase the
initial hardness or in the direction of SOFT to decrease it.
Check the set initial hardness by tapping water at the tapping valve ( fig.2) and checking it with the
hardness measuring set.
If you want to fill with demineralized water, the spindle of the blending valve must be completely
screwed in (fig.3) in order to deactivate the blending.

When filling with softened water, the

unscrewed again.
