MECHANICAL INSTALLATION
• First find a suitable installation location for the device. Make sure that there is enough space for the installa-
tion of the cables and that they are not kinked and that there is sufficient strain relief.
• Make sure that the amplifier receives sufficient cooling at the mounting location. Do not install the device in
too small, closed housings without air circulation, in the vicinity of heat-emitting parts or electronic controls
of the vehicle.
• Never mount the amplifier on a bass enclosure or other vibrating parts, as this may cause the internal com-
ponents to vibrate and seriously damage the unit.
• The power supply and audio signal cables should be kept as short as possible during installation to avoid
losses and interference.
• Remove the four cover screws on corners of the device. Then use standard self-tapping screws (not in-
cluded in the scope of delivery) to screw the device into the four mounting holes at the installation location.
• During installation, make sure that no parts that are standard in the vehicle, such as cables, on-board com-
puters, seat belts, tanks or similar parts, are damaged or removed.
CAUTION
Before you start with the installation, disconnect necessarily the GROUND connection wire from
the battery to avoid any risk of electric shocks and short circuits.
