d) Liquid may leak from the battery if used incorrectly. Avoid
contact with it. In case of accidental contact, rinse with water.
If the liquid gets into your eyes, seek additional medical atten-
tion. Leaking battery fluid may cause skin irritation or burns.
e) Do not use a damaged or modified battery. Damaged or modi-
fied batteries can behave unpredictably and cause fire, explosion or
injury.

Do not expose a battery to fire or excessive temperatures. Fire
or temperatures above 130°C may cause an explosion.
g) Follow all charging instructions and never charge the battery
or rechargeable tool outside the temperature range specified
in the operating manual. Incorrect charging or charging outside
the approved temperature range can destroy the battery and in-
crease the risk of fire.
Service
• Never attempt to service damaged batteries. Any type of battery
maintenance shall be carried out only by the manufacturer or an
authorised customer service centre.
Special safety instructions for battery-powered devices
ATTENTION
Observe the safety instructions and notes in the operating instruc-
tions of all compatible products you use.
• Make sure the device is switched off before inserting the bat-
tery. Inserting a battery into an electric tool that is switched on can
cause accidents.
• Only charge your batteries indoors because the battery char-
ger is only intended for this purpose. Danger due to electric
shock.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug the battery char-
ger from the wall socket before cleaning.
