FIELD OF APPLICATION
The CLEAR PRO CONEL retrofit leakage protection MultiControl 3/4" - 1 1/4" is an effective
protection system and is used in combination with the CLEAR PRO R domestic water units, the
CLEAR PRO RD backwash filters and the CLEAR PRO K and CLEAR PRO KD cartridge filters as a
fitting for drinking water installations in accordance with DIN 3553 and DIN 1988.

The symbols and safety instructions used in the operating instructions are to be understood as follows:

without fail for safety reasons.
Unit of measure: the tightening torques prescribed
by the manufacturer

REQUIREMENTS
To ensure trouble-free operation, the following requirements
must be met.
/ The ambient temperature must not exceed 30 °C (to avoid material damage, breakage, etc.).
/ In order to drain the waste water (backwash) safely during operation and in the event of any
defects that may occur, thus avoiding damage to property, observe chapter 6 „ Mounting".
/ The room for installation must be dry and frost-free.
/ The CLEAR PRO CONEL retrofit leakage protection MultiControl 3/4" - 1 1/4" must not be
exposed to strong impacts.
/ A shut-off valve must be installed in an upstream position!
This allows the water supply to be interrupted during installation, maintenance or repair.
/ The CLEAR PRO CONEL retrofit leakage protection MultiControl 3/4" - 1 1/4" can be installed in
all usual available potable water pipes.
/ Installation in an upstream position of the water meter is generally not permitted.
/ Installation and maintenance may only be carried out by an authorised specialist company.
/ The packaging serves as transport protection. If there is significant damage to the packaging, the
fitting should not be installed.
