4.4 The dual / triple zone function
Cooking zones 1 and 3 each have 2 and 3 heating sections
respectively, of which you can only use the central area (A)
or 2 (B) or 3 heating zones (C) simultaneously.

When each cooking zone is switched on,
only the central section (A) is active.
To enlarge or reduce the heating area for cooking zones 1 or 3,
proceed as follows:
Enlarging the heating area
• Touch the cooking zone selection key
of the desired dual or triple zone.
• While the corresponding cooking zone display is flashing,
touch the
key once to activate the second heating sec-
tion additionally (B)
or twice for the third heating section (C, only available for
cooking zone 1).
• After 5 seconds without further operation, the cooking
zone display stops flashing and shows the activation sym-
bol
for dual or
alternately.
• The additional area B or C is now heated with the set
power level (1-9).
• To switch between the heating sections during operation
in the sequence B > A > B ... or C > A > B > C ... during oper-
ation, touch the corresponding cooking zone selection key
again and then the
A
for the triple zone and the power level
key once or several times.
