4.6 The key lock / child lock
To prevent unintentional operation
(e.g. by children accidentally switching on the cooking zones),
you can lock the control panel.
Switching off the hob when the key lock is activated:
Even if the control panel is locked, the On / Off key
remains active.
You can thus switch off the hob at any time in an emergency.
However, for further operation, the key lock must first be
released.
To use the key lock function, proceed as follows:
Locking the control panel
• Touch the key for the key lock
• The timer display shows
or
and the remaining time alternately,
if the timer was previously set.
The control panel is locked except for the On/Off key
Unlocking the control panel
• Make sure that the hob is switched on.
• Touch the key for the key lock
for a few seconds.
• When the
display disappears,
you can use the hob normally again.
