Timer setting with automatic switch-off of cooking zones
To set the timer so that a cooking zone is automatically
switched off after a set time of 1-99 min, proceed as follows:
• Touch the cooking zone selection key of the cooking zone,
for which you want to activate the switch-off timer
and set the desired power level, if not already done.
• While the cooking zone display is flashing,
touch timer key
• The timer display starts flashing and shows
• Use the
and
in minutes.
• Briefly touching the keys will change the time setting in
1 minute increments, long touches in 10 minute incre-
ments.
• If 99 minutes are exceeded, the setting returns
to 0 minutes.
• After 5 seconds without further input, the display stops
flashing and the set time is automatically confirmed.
The countdown starts and the timer display shows the
remaining time.
To mark the selected zone, a dot flashes
next to the corresponding power display.
CAUTION!
Risk of injury and fire!
Unattended cooking can boil over,
burn and catch fire!
Do not use the timer for unattended cooking!
• After the set time has elapsed, the corresponding cooking
zone is switched off automatically.

Other cooking zones remain unaffected
by the timer and stay in operation, if applicable.
