To enjoyyour locomotivefor a long time, it ist

to service it regularly(i.e.after it has
beenin operation for approximately 3 0 hours).
1. Cleaning of wheel contacts: Wheelcontacts
easilyget dirty on trackswhichare not entirely
clean. Use a small brush to remove dirt from
spotsmarkedin fig. 6. Priorto cleaningremove
gearcover(fig.2).
2. Lubrication: Apply tiny oil drops to spots
markedin fig. 9. Prior to lubricationdismantle
locomotive (fig. 2).We recommendusing item no.
10906, Roco oiler. Forlubrication the gear-parts
(e.g. cog-wheels, w orm) we would recommend
our Roco special grease (item No. 10905).
Attention: Pleasedo not oil these parts when
using our grease.

3. Change of lights: First removeloco body
(fig.2) andthenchangelights (fig.5).

4. Change of traction tyre: Removegear cover
(fig. 4).Take out wheel set and removetraction
tyre usinga pin or a fine screwdriver (fig. 7).
Whenpressingon the new traction tyre please
avoid twisting it.

5. Carbon Brush Changing: Firstremove loco
body(fig. 2), andthen replace the carbon brus-
hes or the motor (fig.8).
